Una Culinary Journey al Rome Cavalieri, una giornata particolare decisamente all’insegna del luxury e del bien vivre.

Una giornata che scorre lenta e si muove sinuosa tra cocktail a base di champagne e lunch in piscina, tra alberi secolari e sole che scalda pelle e anima. Che lascia fruscii di seta sontuosa tra i  saloni imponenti, ma così confortanti, tra i divani beige della terrazza che guarda su Roma, scenografia unica, irripetibile e impossibile da copiare. Una giornata che scandisce il suo tempo tra una chiacchiera e l’altra, tra risate genuine e tintinnii di calici che brindano, perché è molto più facile creare amicizie, confidenze e nuovi progetti davanti a un pranzo gourmet, preparato con maestria, ma anche con tanto amore e passione.

Il Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Resorts è sempre così con me. Mi accoglie in una sorta di abbraccio morbido e profumato e mi fa sentire a casa, sempre. Questo luogo mi ha dato conforto in momenti della vita impegnativi e continua ad abbracciarmi e seguirmi, è uno dei luoghi in cui quando entro sento un sussurro dolce, “Benvenuta a casa!”  ed io mi lascio condurre, felice. Impossibile non essere felici in questo angolo di puro relax.

L’estate 2015 del Rome Cavalieri si supera con un viaggio di sapori e di bollicine effervescenti all’interno dei suoi luoghi en plein air, un viaggio che promette momenti indimenticabili. Per chi adora lo champagne c’è un nuovo long drink da assaporare nelle ore più calde, il freschissimo  Moët&Chandon Ice Imperial: champagne, ghiaccio e foglioline di menta, perfetto per accompagnare spuntini light a bordo piscina.

C’è chi non rinuncia al lunch, complice la bellezza del ristorante L’Uliveto, gioiello creato tra il verde del parco e il blu della piscina. Le pietanze estive da provare, leggere e squisite, sono diverse e accontentano tutti i gusti. Io ho adorato il  Crudo di mare con gamberi rossi e quenelle di avocado e il sublime Pata Negra Jamòn Ibérico de Bellota Emperador, rigorosamente tagliato a vista e al momento.

Il viaggio prosegue verso il tramonto dove un aperitivo al Blue Prestige Terrace è di rito. Assaporare il Blue Prestige Martini a base di Vodka Belvedere, Cointreau, Moët & Chandon Réserve Impériale con  sorbetto di limone, Blue Curaçao diventa un’esperienza sensoriale: la vista per il blu rilassante e la luce del sole che cala dietro al parco e  il gusto per la delicatezza decisa del cocktail. Si arriva alla serata con il Circus du Chalet per un trionfo di sapori multietnici: la cucina internazionale del Medio Oriente, dell’Europa dell’Est, dell’Asia e del Brasile   gioca con le performance circensi di bravissimi acrobati ed attori, creando uno spettacolo unico e sempre diverso.

Un’estate da vivere appieno, quella del Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Resorts, un’estate da non lasciarsi sfuggire, momenti di gioia e relax da catturare e imprimere nella nostra memoria, momenti da condividere con chi amiamo. Un’estate di attimi speciali che noi sappiamo come fare diventare unici grazie ad un luogo colmo di energia positiva e gioia, e laggiù la Città Eterna. Un luogo che sa bene come farti sentire a casa e che sa accompagnarti dalla prima luce dell’alba al tramonto profumato di gelsomini e tigli.

A culinary journey at the Rome Cavalieri, a particular day plunged in luxury and bien vivre. A slowly swinging day moving among cocktails, champagne and lunch at the edge of the swimming pool, beneath the trees and the sun warming skin and soul. A day leaving a rustle of lavish silk into the impressive but comfortable halls and among the beige sofas of the terrace leaning on Rome. A unique, once in a life scene. Impossible to be copied. Time is marked by chitchat, spontaneous laughs and the jingle of cheering stem glasses, because it is easier to make friends, tell confidences and make new projects in front of a delicious lunch skillfully prepared with love and passion.

The Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Resort is always like that with me. It greets me in a kind of soft and scented hug and makes me feel at home. Always. This place has always supported me in difficult moments and keeps on hugging and following me. It is one of the places when I enter I perceive a sweet whisper saying “Welcome home!”. And I allow to be leaded on. Impossible not to be happy in this spot of absolute relax. At the Rome Cavalieri summer 2015 goes further through a journey of tastes and sparkles in its open air spaces, a journey boding unforgettable moments. For those who love champagne there is a new long drink to be tasted during the hottest hours, the cool Moët&Chandon Ice Imperial: champagne, ice cube and mint leaves; perfect to match with a luncheon on the edge of the swimming pool. For those who cannot give up lunch, there is L’Uliveto restaurant, authentic jewel set among the green of the park and the blue of the swimming pool.

The several delicious and light summer courses can satisfy all tastes. I loved Crudo di mare (raw food sea) with red prawns, quenelle of avocado and finally the Pata Negra Jamón Ibérico de Bellota Emperador (Spanish selected ham) precisely cut at the moment in front of you. The journey carries on the sunset where a cocktail at the Blue Prestige Terrace is a must. Tasting the Blue Prestige Martini made of Vodka Belvedere, Cointreau, Moët&Chandon Réserve Impériale, Blue Curaçao with lemon sorbet becomes a sensorial experience thanks to the sight on the relaxing blue, to the soft beams of the sun going down besides the park and the determined delicacy of the cocktails. Evening arrives together with the Circus du Chalet for a triumph of multiethnic flavours: the international cooking of the Middle East, of Eastern Europe, Asia and Brazil play games with the talented circus performers creating a unique and always different show. It is a summer to live totally, a summer not to let escape at the Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Resort, joyful moments and relax to capture and embed in our memory, moments to be shared with our beloved. A summer full of special moments to be converted in unique moments thanks to a place full of positive energy and happiness. A place that easily makes you feel at home and hangs around with you from the earliest morning till the jasmine and linden scented sunset; over there the Eternal City.
